I have a fascination for the potent image  and rich symbolism of isolated farmhouses  on snow covered moors. 

I was frozen stiff when I arrived at Wagstaffes Farm, high in the Pennines. The brooding, near black sky in motion as the storm was beginning to surround me  and the light of the moment, producing  such a brilliant white covering to the snow truly excited me to put brush to paper.
