We mere mortals cannot perfect or compete with nature’s artistic ability. She can make beautiful sculptured shapes out of the powdered snow, leaving the moor like frozen seas. I captured this window of light reflecting down on to the sheep foraging for food in the frozen landscape. Mother Nature can be beautiful but inhospitable, like an ice maiden from a children’s fable.
