The scene could not have been more perfect. The barnhouse stood in deep, drifting snow on the ridge, silhouetted supremely on the skyline by the meanacing and swirling sky. As I put my first brush stroke on to my paper intuition told that this was going to work. I also knew that although some people might find this painting cold, bleak, intimidating and almost too powerful to live with, Heather my daughter would love it.
