"Art on line" with Grand Central

Last Night Grand Central unveiled fantastic honour "Ashley Jackson - The Yorkshire Artist" , a train that is much more than its name, it is a public expression of my love affair with Yorkshire through faithful reproductions of my paintings in to vinyl images that are within every carriage. There is also a surprise for anyone who visits the toilets, where a painting is placed on the back of the door with words from my sketch books from the 1960's through to present day which hopefully convey my need to paint my mistress - Yorkshire.

I hope the paintings will promote Yorkshire and the beauty she beholds, whilst being a historical first for art. Now you can sit in Kings Cross admiring a landscape of Yorkshire

On a humourous issue I apologise if this has created a longer than average stay within the toilet facilities as people stop to read the passages from my sketch book.
