As a family business we would like to let you know how we are working hard to ensure the safety of our staff and customers who wish to visit us, for health, safety and well-being is at the forefront of how we will be opening  with every precaution in place to ensure the best experience and Yorkshire welcome.

What we will be doing differently;

Whilst we adapt to the changes we will be reducing our hours of opening;

Due to the size of the gallery we will be limiting the number of customers allowed into the gallery at any one time to allow for social distancing.

We will be providing hand sanitiser for all customers at the door and our staff will have further supplies to hand.

There are purpose made screens at the counter and payment area to ensure minimal contact and our staff have been provided with face shields and masks (should they wish to utilise)

We will be cleaning and disinfecting frequently particularly in high touch areas such as the door, counter and card reader.

How we are adding to the bespoke experience;

We will be accepting orders over the phone and via email that can be picked up at the door.

We would like to offer appointments to view the prints, original paintings and for insurance valuations so that individual time can be planned for your visit.

With our gift account service we can help you celebrate your special occasion with a personal touch.

We can provide an email for you to forward on to your guests explaining the many different ways they can contact Ashley Jackson Gallery so that they may add to your gift account.

At all times as we represent you, your guests are our guests.

As payment is taken by mail order certain security features  mean we have to ask details, once the transaction is complete and a receipt issued by post or email no details are held on file ( nor would they be contacted by the gallery unless they had specified for us to do so)

We would be honoured to play a role in your celebrations, with a desire for courtesy to your guests and the amount they wish to present you with as individuals.

Together, you will be able to choose a collective gift that brings together wonderful memories of your special day be it wedding, civil ceremony, wedding anniversary or birthday.

Give a gift that lasts a lifetime

We don't have a Black Friday or Cyber Monday , but we do have colours of Yorkshire

Posted by Claudia Jackson-Berettoni on November 06, 2019 (0 Comments)

Just enjoying the Autumn colours, I know its not where they belong but the rich colours in 'Power and the Passion' of the tablemats and coasters worked so well with the fallen leaves.

If they look this good on dry leaves imagine what they will look like on your table.

Something Old something New - 'In Memory of Sid'

Posted by Adam Copland on October 02, 2019 (0 Comments)

What can we say about the weather, Ashley loves to capture the dramatic skies but this weekend has just been waterlogged to say the least. It's good to have a dry sunny day to be able to explore the Holme Valley.

In the centre of Holmfirth is Sid's Cafe where the three main characters from 'Last of the Summer wine' could be found getting up to mischief.

The small watercolour print below is one we have been asked to bring back to the collection by our customers; 'In memory of Sid' is aptly titled and just for one minute you could believe that Compo, Foggy and Clegg are sat planning their next misadventure inside
