Dedicated to the resilence of Yorkshire, the posts stand firm against the elements pointing straight up towards the dramatic sky perhaps mocking Mother Nature to do her worst for they are still standing proud.
The foreground is highlighted by the recent downpour still sitting at ground level for it has only just passed and has not had chance to be absorbed by the moorland.
These are the days I feel alive when the atmosphere makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, this is what I attempt to capture in my watercolours not just a landscape but a feeling.
