After the demonstration take time to go up to the Gallery to see ‘Power and the Passion’ exhibition of Ashley’s paintings. Each painting was chosen from his personal collection and has therefore never been on public display. They depict Yorkshire in all her Glory – wind, rain, snow and occasional sun.

Temple Newsam House is just off junction 46 of the M1and for those that have not visited before is a hidden jewel with tea room, farm , grounds by Capability Brown and over 46 rooms open to the public. There is a house admission charge as it belongs to Leeds City Council but there is no additional charge for the demonstration.

The Painting Gallery has a limit in regards the audience capacity and so Temple Newsam House are taking bookings for those who wish to attend the demonstration.
