Ashley helps put Yorkshire in the frame by utilising a different colour palette than that of his beloved Yorkshire to paint the Arts of Yorkshire Garden at Chelsea Flower Show, London.

As guest of Welcome to Yorkshire, Ashley enthralled the visitors to the Garden which included a sculpture by Barbara Hepworth and the colour palette of David Hockney as the basis for the colours of flowers chosen. It was truly a fantastic day with large numbers of the RHS members viewing Ashley as he painted in the sunshine, whilst promoting the Arts of Yorkshire.
