Brontë Moorland - near Thornton Moor

Posted by Claudia Jackson-Berettoni on April 12, 2012 (0 Comments)

I have been fortunate to paint in God's County Yorkshire and on my travels I have been privy to stunning landscapes and dramatic skies. None more so than Haworth Moor a few miles out of Haworth village.

To visit the location you can hear the skylarks and imagine the chatter of the Brontë children playing on the moor, gathering inspiration for Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights.

I have attached a small amount of footage so that you might share in the joy of the scenery that surrounded me that day.
