Plans for 2013
Where to start.... the weather has certainly given me plenty of inspiration over the last few days with much of Yorkshire dusted with a light sprinkling of snow or a glistening layer of frost. Wrapping up warm its good to get out into the landscape and shake the post Christmas fatigue off to start a new year with enthusiasm for my Yorkshire mistress.
February and March will see me back at Cusworth Hall, Doncaster where "Opposites Attract" is on exhibition until the 2nd June for schools programmes. I often find that the experience works both ways with the children being inspired to be creative and value their talents but also for me in finding out how different the world is from my childhood.
February will also see me assisting with the launch of the Jane Tomlinson Walking Festival, sketching at Penyghent, so if you wrap up warm I might see you there on the 6th February.
Then my own paint days will follow in May, with a few places remaining for the 17th May. Each year I am excited to see new faces with all levels of art ability from complete beginners upwards. Most have never felt confident to paint outside ... well this is the perfect opportunity with fellow art enthusiasts.
I have news on exhibitions for this year but will save it till a little nearer to the time, needless to say they are differing and exciting venues where I hope you will join me to reflect in the surroundings.
Should you wish to be kept informed of exhibitions, launches and general information there are plenty of ways to keep in touch.
