What a peaceful place for an exhibition:
Ashley Jackson celebrates God’s Own County - Yorkshire
Synonymous with Yorkshire, Ashley Jackson’s paintings reveal the relationship between the artist and the wonderful county he paints. His greatest fear is that we fail to protect the landscape for future generations, and he believes passionately that we must ensure the gift of art and culture is passed on to our young or the world will be a poorer place in which to live.
Listen to Ashley, in conversation with Canon Sam Corley, as we open the exhibition at 7.30pm on Thursday 4th July.
